Antique Orthodox icon of the Mother of God of Kazan, beautifully adorned with a detailed embossed metal oklad. The Virgin tenderly inclines her head toward the Christ Child, who raises His hand in blessing — a timeless and deeply venerated composition in Orthodox devotion. The finely engraved halo, floral motifs, and decorative border reflect refined craftsmanship. The partially visible painted faces beneath the metal cover preserve the sacred presence and authenticity of the icon. Natural aging, patina, and devotional wear enhance its historical character. Condition: visible age-related wear to the metal oklad and wooden panel, surface patina, minor abrasions, and signs of devotional use consistent with time. Original wooden backing intact.
