An impressive large-format Orthodox icon depicting The Last Supper - "Тайная Вечеря" (The Mystical Supper), one of the most significant scenes in Christian iconography. Christ is seated at the center of the sacred table surrounded by the Twelve Apostles, commemorating the institution of the Holy Eucharist before His Passion. Traditionally hand-painted on a prepared wooden panel, the icon is distinguished by its detailed multi-figure composition, expressive faces, richly colored garments and luminous gold-toned background. Dating to the 20th century, the icon retains a beautiful traditional Orthodox character. It has undergone some restoration and retouching, consistent with its condition and history, while the principal composition remains exceptionally strong, detailed and visually impressive. Condition: Good overall condition with some restoration and retouching, surface wear, scratches and age-related marks. The wooden panel displays visible signs of age and wear.
